I occasionally see questions in the Hunting section concerning butchering or processing big game animals. Having grown up in a butcher's home I have never taken an animal to a processing plant. My question is this, is there a market for a how to DVD on how to process your own big game animals?

There would be no market for a video if you were wishing to sell it. There are tons of them on the internet for free, on how to do it.
I could be wrong but I am pretty sure there are several DVD's out there covering the basics of butchering large game. There's also lots of DVD's about making sausage, canning, smoking etc.
I've never bought any and do my own processing. Most DVD's usually have a line of items they want to sell you on their DVD. Costs enough just buying a good sausage stuffer and grinder, and meat saw.
There are some on youtube, doubt you'd sell many. But if you can do a good job cutting up the meat, advert to local hunters and make some money that way. We have a local guy that is super and has to turn people away in hunting season he gets so backed up.
hi there yes i am sure there is,up here in Canada it costs around $130.00 bucks to cut and wrap a normal size deer, many of our new hunters just don't want to cut up their own meat, i have tought a few how i do it but i am not a butcher and just take the best steaks and the loins and everything else gets turned into burger for pepperettes and sausage, so yes do up a how to dvd and do it from field dressing to packaged meat.have fun shoot safe.
It seems like others would think there is a market. I've certainly looked up videos on youtube though for that exact purpose. I'm cheap, and I'm going for the free video every time even if the info isn't quite as good.
