Problem with save for web on adobe photoshop cs6?

Basically i just got photoshop cs6. I love it but whenever i save it to web it saves fine in .gif but when i try to upload it to youtube as my channel art it says please choose a valid image file. My picture is exactly the right size and it's under 2 mb... HELP?

I dont think that saving it in Gif will do it. Try JPG or PNG. Thats what i use.
