I found a tick under by dogs chin today & I pulled the tick of & it was full of yellow puss not blood.?

actually it's not a good idea to pull the tick out. i usually cover it with vaseline petroleum jelly; and then the tick will pull out of the dog and you must quickly grab the tick and kill it.

anyway, the tick probably had not taken any blood from your dog yet.

please make sure that you get the right preventative meds to stop that happening again....Show more
