During the singing of the National Anthem why is it only the young US army guy that kept his hat on???

Aren't Army guys supposed to take off their hats during the singing of the National Anthem, or are they officially excused from doing so???

The announcer told everyone to "take off their hats for the singing of the national anthem". They were smack dab in the middle of the channel on NATIONAL TV. The older retired army guys removed their hats, but the young army guy just ignored the order. Something very fishy is going on here.......

Yes in the MIlitary your suppose to take your hat off
with a very few exceptions and about the only ones that dont is the flag bearers ..its pretty hard to hold a flag and your cover(hat) at the same time

They also cheer during the national anthem...maybe they are doing things backwards there in The WIndy City for a reason???
