I have a 04 GMC 5.3 that wont stay running. I gave a jump to my son the other day and the truck was not used for couple days. I went to start it and it wouldn't start so I got a jump. I went to take off and it just died. I restarted it without a jump but it wont stay running. acts as if its not getting gas. the alternator is charging. I charged the battery over night and its still doing the same thing.

Things possible;
Fuel filter
lose battery cables
bad fuel pressure regulator or vacuum bad to same
crank sensor may be bad
mass air flow sensor may be dirty or defective--unplug and see if it starts if so replace.
Check alternator out put with engine running 13.5 volts+ or - .5 volt

low gasoline furnish verify clear out and pump. vacuum leak verify any vacuum contraptions and tubing. incorrect idle velocity verify settings ( and air leaks ) no ought to show out automobile must be completely serviced etc.
