Power wont turn on in my room and lights wont turn on in kitchen?
So my idiot step brother put cables into a wall outlet to see if it would charge his phone, even after i told him he'd mess something up. a big blue ball bursted out of the wall and shot off everything in my room and nothing will turn on in my room, also the lights in the kitchen wont turn on. the fridge and separate freezer still work but the lights don't. I went to my fuse box thing and there is 1 button thats in the middle so im assuming thats the one thats causing everything to not work but when i try to switch it back on it goes back into the middle. i turned the gti pannel off and on and still doesn't work, im pondering turning the main disconnect off and on again to see if that would work, im just afraid that would do more harm then good. Please HELP!

This is a breaker not a fuse. Sounds like the breaker itself has been fried. Check to see if the cables your brother put into the wall are still plugged in. If they are, unplug them. It's not your brother's fault. You have too many electrical devises drawing power from 1 breaker. If this is already unplugged, try unplugging something else, then resetting the breaker. Hope this helps. Good luck!
once you're saying you replaced the breakers, do you advise you have fuses, or which you reset the breaker switches? to fully reset a tripped breaker, you should instruct it completely off, then decrease back on. Tripped breakers could properly be complicated to be certain: a number of them do not somewhat pass that a procedures whilst they holiday, so that they seem interior the "On" place. turn any suspect breakers off then decrease back on just to make beneficial. extremely than the pen element, which basically seems for A/C to be recent, yet does not verify for a stable circuit, you should attempt a plug-in circuit tester. they have 3 lighting fixtures on the tip that show you how to realize what's incorrect with the circuit. in case you employ a gadget to attempt the merchants, make beneficial that is a few thing elementary like a lamp, to do away with different accessible aspects of failure. you're ultimate that seeing skill in the two aspects of the opening could look to show a brief, yet a brief could have killed the breaker/GFI. however if some thing have been given crossed up someplace, and you purely had the nice and cozy cord showing up, yet not the unbiased, you should probable instruct A/C to the pen detector, yet not have the two legs needed for a circuit.
I am sure that the wires got earthed. So open the socket and remove the wires out of the socket and insulate them using a electrical insulation tape. Then switch on the breaker. You will definitely get the power in the room. Later call an electrician and ask him to replace the socket or you can do it yourself.
