Need a Disney FastPass expert?

I've been researching the FastPass at Disney, it seems simple, yet I have a question that I cannot find the answer to. Let's say there are 5 people in my party, I take their tickets and go get a FastPass at a ride. Now, will all 5 passes have the exact same time on it? Is it possible that some will say 1:10-2:10 and others 1:20-2:20? If so, if we get there at 1:10, will my entire party be allowed in? Is there a way to know how many passes are left at a given ride? I do not want to go & try to obtain 5 passes while a ride only has 2 left.

I generally travel with a large group of people. My friend's family is ever-growing, and I tag along sometimes when they go, so there are 11 or more people at any time. We manage to get Fastpasses that are for the same time frame.

I've never had a problem getting Fastpasses for the same time.

However, you have nothing to worry about. Fastpasses generally only change times by 5 or 10 minutes at a time. (Disneyland I noticed that Fastpass times moved by 5 minutes-- 8:05, 8:10, 8:15, etc.)

So, if your group does get split... Three of you have 1:10 and two of you have 1:20... So all five of you can go at 1:20. Problem solved.

You're not going to get passes that are 1:10 and 7:20-- you'll get passes where the time overlaps very closely, so you'll all get on.

It all depends on the cast member. I understand that there is strict enforcement of the Fastpass times now, and it says "Early or Late Arrivals cannot be accommodated" on the Fastpass. A cast member MIGHT allow you all in at 1:10, but chances are, you'll all have to wait until all the fastpasses are Valid.

Only once do I remember a situation where one or two of our Fastpasses were valid for a different time. This was prior to the "strict enforcement rule" that has recently been put in place. They allowed us in with the rest of our party, but A) our fastpasses were only a ten minute difference, and B) they don't have to do that for us. They can decide not to.

Also, you needn't worry about them running out of fastpasses. Some attractions have Fastpasses that run out very, very quickly. (Toy Story Mania at WDW is one of those rides, as is Radiator Springs Racers at Disney's California Adventure in Anaheim, CA.) If your Fastpasses are numbered at 1:10-2:10, there are plenty of Fastpasses left to distribute.

I think you're over-worrying about this. It will be fine and there are very few attractions that are difficult to obtain fastpasses for.

I think Soarin' and Toy Story Mania are the two rides in all of WDW that you'd have to worry about Fastpasses distributing all their fastpasses early. They are in separate parks, so when you get there, I suggest running over with all 5 tickets and getting your Fastpass ASAP. (In the case of Soarin', I suggest just getting in line first thing and bypass the Fastpass altogether...)

stop worrying.
-yes every fastpass has a time fram on it.
-yes its possible for some to be 1:10-2:10 and some to be 1:20-2:20
-yes your entire party can go at the same time
-no there is not but how you can gauge it is if the fastpass time is just a little while from when you obtain it then there are probably a lot left. if the fastpass time is for later in the day then there's not many left.
again i tell you to not worry so much about this. if there are only 2 left then just let a cast member know that you wanted 5 but you only got 2 and they will most likely accommodate you by giving you instant fastpasses or something.
disney world has excellent customber service for the most part and wants to keep their guests happy and doing that for you would be a very simple solution that would make you happy.

If you get them all at the same time it's almost impossible that they'd have different times. I'm also sure they would let your whole party stay together.

Also, there are only a few rides that ever run out of fast-passes. I've never seen it happen. I'm guessing it's more of a "You are the last party able to get fastpasses" thing than a strict "Two left!" thing.
If for some reason it shuts down when you don't have all the fastpasses, talk to the employee by the machine, and they will probably give you the fastpasses needed to allow your whole party to go together.
They do want to keep you happy after all.
Just please be polite to them, their job is hard as is XD

Yes that can happen. there is no guarantee all five tickets are going to spit out the same time, in the amount of time it takes you to get five FP. All FP booths are being used and tickets are spitting out for all of them.
They will post the time the tickets are being posted for. But that can change as you are doing 5 FP. they can not tell you how many tickets are left for the 1:10 spot. F/P tickets move too fast. that info is not going to be posted
But even if 2 of you get a 1:10 time and 3 of you get a 1:20 you all can go in at 1:20.
Doubtfull that they would allow all of you in at 1:10. You are only talking about a 10 minute wait

first of all you're interior the ORLANDO FLORIDA section. disneyLAND is in CALIFORNIA. secondly fastpass expenditures not something. its secure with each fee ticket. you in simple terms placed your fee ticket into the fastpass gadget and it could provide back your fee ticket alongside with a fastpass.
