What's the best way to keep my hair from getting tangled at the beach?

Please describe your method the way you would describe it to a five-year-old. I am unbelievably bad with hair. I know I already posted this once, but we're going tomorrow morning so I wanna get as many opinions as I can!

My hair is really, really thick and wavy and it's about 5 inches away from reaching my waist. It hasn't been this long in a really long time and I forget what I used to do to keep it from getting super tangled. Any tips or suggestions? Thanks everyone! :)

Okay. It's rather simple really... Just put your hair in up-do's. Do braids, buns, pony tails, and things of that sort.

I always do a deep conditioning the night b4 I go to the beach which is when you shampoo your hair then rinse then add a thick conditioner pile all ur hair to the top of ur head clip with a claw add a shower cap then put ur blow dryer on high heat then sit under ur blow dryer to heat up ur hair for about five minutes. Keep hair in shower cap for about an hour or longer if you want then rinse with cold water. After rinse spay a debt angler all over and then in the morning b4 you go to the beach respray the detangler into ur dry hair and hit the beach. This way when the salt water hits ur hair it is stronger and the water reactivates the deep conditioner and the detangling spray. Good luck
