Help me make pancakes?

So the recipe says 1 cup of self rising flour, I only have all purpose. Baking powder makes things rise so how many tablespoons for every cup of all purpose flour?
P.S. this HAS to be in tablespoons and not teaspoons.
Thanks

For each cup of all-purpose flour, add 1 1/4 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.

If your recipe says self rising flour and you only have AP, for every cup of flour ad 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder PLUS 1/4 teaspoon salt.
2 little tips: 3 teaspoons in a tablespoon if you ever have to convert.
Also, I would never buy self rising flour for the reason that baking powder loses its power quickly when it's exposed to air/moisture, it's not even about buying some and using it right away, it's been in the bag at the store and then on a shelf in storage and at a warehouse for a while so it's already lost it's potency- and then you use it and you won't get the results you want and you'll wonder why. So good to know this conversion when you're finding recipes that ask for self rising flour (since mixing flour and BP and salt is easy enough to do yourself, it seems pointless and a waste of money to buy stuff that's already made and will also not work as well anyway).
Good luck
