Stomach feels empty, but I'm not hungry.?

Occasionally, if I skip a meal or two, I will normally get the stomach growling and feelings of emptiness, but at the same time, it feels like I'm full in the sense that when I take a bite of food and swallow, it takes effort and isn't really enjoyable, just like if you had consumed a large meal.

It isn't that big of a deal, but it can make eating a chore and leave me with an empty stomach all evening. Any hypotheses or solutions?

Consult a doctor.In the meantime please try to take few small pieces of raw ginger (chewing) with salt at intervals.Take water instantly if requires.
