best 3 second attention span answer or best answer that actually works?
Call your isp and ask them if there are any connectivity issues or line repairs in your area. Have them test the line remotely (free). If nothing then power cycle the modem and router and restart the computer.
Next step would be to check power settings of your wireless card or adapter in your computer. Go to the control panel, device manager, network adapters, right click yours and click properties, power management tab, uncheck everything and click ok and close everything out and restart your computer.
Upgrade the firmware on the router also. Update Windows fully, as well.
Check to make sure your anti virus software isn't having issues and is updated fully.
Google your model modem and/or router to see if those specific models have had any issues. If they have you will see people asking plenty of questions about connectivity issues. Follow through on any answers that the askers said fixed the issue(s)
Ive had that frequently when i had AT@T. It can be caused by many things. They gave us a faulty modem/router and the wifi would kick off every 10 minutes for some reason. We switched to comcast (for faster speeds) and got a cable modem and had no issues since then. Check your connections and make sure your wires arnt getting tugged or pulled and are working properly. Service outages also cause connection problems but in this case i doubt it. Also if your getting ddos'd from a hacker then they can shut your internet down but again its rare. More then likely your hardware is deffective consider replacing it.
Sounds like a faulty modem. If it is purchased you may need to buy a new one, if it is provided by the ISP then contact them to have the modem checked ON-SITE. They cannot detect the errors from their end.
They must have something going on in the source of the network, (your internet provider) -i also saw your answer of my question, and i cant seem to find it anymore but im very sorry about your cat <3-
