Which plan? Family or Single? Active, Reserve or Retired?

Retirees

Prime is @ $22/month single and @ $45/month with dependents with $12 co pays for Dr visits and no deductible (or about $273 and $546 annually)

Standard is free with @ $150 or $300 dollar deductible (depending on status) and then a 80/20 copay

and I think both have a $3k catastrophic cap
.

If you are active duty you do not pay for TRICARE.

It really depends upon which type of TRICARE you sign up for, dependents, active VS reserve status, etc.

Google TRICARE and you will find a website with a .gov ending to it.

I was thinking that my stepfather pays 300 a month for him and my mom, I won't swear to that. My mother is having drama using it since places where she lives won't take it because they don't get paid..........In some cases it is a benefit for her to have it, but we found that she has to mention that the tricare is her primary insurance and medicare or medicaid or whatever is her secondary. There is good and bad with everything.

nothing unless you are talking about Tricare Reserve Select or Retirees

Depends what status you are. Active, reserve, retired, etc.

I'm retired and don't pay anything.
