Is tricare deducted from pay?
I am currently registering for Tricare Reserve Select and I just want to make sure, is the monthly cost deducted from my pay or must I manually pay tricare? Thank you all in advance.

According to their website --
Effective January 1, 2013, all premium payments (after the initial two months payment) must be made by either a recurring electronic funds transfer (EFT) or recurring credit/debit card (RCC) that will process within the first five business days of each month of coverage.
You won't receive a monthly bill and you can be charged an insufficient-funds fee of up to $20.

Healthnet is a reprehensible for-profit company that administers Tricare. They will nickel-and-dime you on fees. Watch out and check your monthly statements.
