They can and will look better then ever after the move. (Dad taught me this forty years ago) Water well and drain well, then put the plant into a large trash can plastic bag and seal the top. Dad used a black one so that is the only type I have ever used. The plants come out of the bags looking better than they have in years! My plants were in the bags a little over one weeks time.

Are these indoor potted plants or yard plants that you will dig up? If potted plants water well and allow to drain. Make sure to place in the POD where nothing will fall on them. If garden plants make sure to take a very generous root ball. Wrap the ball in burlap and secure. Wet the root ball thoroughly before transport.
The lack of light is less of an issue than proper handling and temperature. Unless it is climate controlled the interior of the POD will get extremely hot.
Shipping companies will ship plants but it is very expensive. You have to go with next day to avoid the heat issues of land transport.
Good luck

Chances are good that some plants will survive without light for a few days.Probably more important are air and moisture. If the POD is airtight the plants will transpire carbon dioxide, which will lead to excess moisture inside.
Succulents should be OK,shrubs and roses are likely to drop their blooms.
Most could revive with TLC.Avoid over watering before loading,it would be best to remove as much foliage as possible beforehand,
