If you were born in china today, and china became a u.s. state tomorrow, would you be eligible to be president?

when you became of age I mean.

it doesn't have to be china or in one day, I meant if one was born anywhere that is not part of the u.s., then later that place becomes a state or territory, would that person be eligible to be president

Well, first China would be a territory, and whether citizenship would be retroactive would depend on how the Organic Act that Congress passes establishing the territory was written.

No, of course not.

Read the Constitution.

You MUST be a natural born citizen - a citizen AT BIRTH.

A day, hour, minute or second later doesn't count.
