Freddy kruegar.
Perfect blend of absolute fear enducing shock just from appearance and the way he can be anywhere whenever he wants.
He also loves toying with people and can be hilarious, but then you realise your laughing out of nerves and not so much humour.
A perfect mix, he also has some of the best killing scenes in any horror movie franchise.
Honourable mentions though are Jason vorhees, chucky, mike myers and the deadites.

Actually I really like a lot of killers from horror movies... Michael Myers, Jason... Pennywise from It.
Oh, and Pinhead! He's creepy.

Dracula. There are so many movies, and so many actors in that role, you gotta find some that you like. Mostly, he has charm, intelligence and is certainly motivated. And he is to be feared. All those aspects make for a great horror movie villain.
