I think I am going to have to switch portals. The US portal is so messed up that it borders on being unusable. It is a horror show of epic proportions. I hope they don't replicate it anywhere else. The Canadian portal looks good, the Australia-Other (general Australia) section there would be easy to get a top ten ranking in I think. Yahoo! you have certainly blown it with this change.

Not me. The US version is totally messed up. The last couple days I have been using the AUS site just because the format is the way the US used to be. They need to change it back.

I have trouble with the display in the Australian portal occasionally (something to do with Firefox?) and was driven to the US portal a few weeks ago. I didn't like the new format. The fiddliest bit is on your own and other people's activity pages - contacts are called "followers" and I could not find any way of emailing others. Seems no one likes it.

Here's the question I asked about it at the time http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ArxBVUKGl3LBroQ8q9NMXI3h5gt.;_ylv=3?qid=20130814204746AAWAkzi

The new US format is awful, the Americans have been complaining about it since it was introduced, and many are now using Yahoo Canada, UK or Australia instead. Let's cross fingers they don't introduce it for us.

well Anne I noticed your question came from the us portal so I clicked on the us map and wow what a shocker now I understand what the problem is and must say it is ghastly and noted that it gives you the ID of the person who rates your answer and vice versa...!!!

think we should all just stick on the australian portal
many of the aussie section still come up in the us portal when it is so easy to change and stay
