I have a stuffy and runny nose, but the it is thick and hard to blow out what is best to use?

I had a cold over the weekend and was taking a decongestant for it? Monday afternoon I had to go to the hospital for wheezing and shortness of breathe. They did a stress test and kept me on oxygen overnight. Yes I am a smoker and was warned to quit, am trying. But I now have the same cold symptoms as before, I am not sure what to take a sinus pill for it or a head congestion pill. Am scared that the stuff will run into my chest and cause a relapse.

Omg, same thing is happening to me. I'm sick and I've missed school because I can hardly breathe. What you should do is take a hot shower and let your nose open up. After you get out of the shower, blow your nose and everything will come out!
