I turned my furnace on the other day and all it does is blow cold air. What is the malfunction?

I have an Interthem Electric furnace. I have check all the fuses and replaced the filter. Is there a secret reset button inside the furnace that I should know about? Common sense tells me the burner or element is heating up but I am not sure where to go from there. Any input would be appreciated.

Could be a reset on a high limit might need to be pushed.

With most electrics I have worked on they normally reset themselves. I would guess it could be a high limit fuse-stat which is not resettable.

The electrics also often use sequencers to control the cycling of the fan and bringing on the elements one at a time. Those do stick.

To solve your problem you need somebody with a good meter and knowledge to read the schematic to determine what is open and where the power to the blower is coming from.

Good luck.
