My furnace is blowing out cold air?

The pilot is probably fine. There is a computer board that controls the furnace. It may have got damaged when you went back to regular power. You probably have to get the furnace company out to check it.

If the green light turns to flashing red almost immediately then you have a tripped safety limit or other failure. Most likely a tripped limit but could be a number of failures. If it was an ignition sensing problem it would go through several attempts to light before going in to lockout unless it detected a open hot surface igniter. Since you have no experience with 'What's what on the inside' then you should have a tech come out. I hope your filters aren't plugged up.

did you disconnect the wires from your circuit breaker panel going to the furnace or shut off the breaker,if you did not when the power came back on you could of blown a fuse they are on top of the air handler about 5 amps they look like car fuses,check that fuse it might be blown.

your golb pulg that light your frunce mit quit working. and you will need a new one it turn the gas on for your frunce . but before you go out and buy one . chack your wire to make sure know are lost. by moving the wire a little will tell you
