On YouTube will VEVO count your views if you're logged into your YouTube account?

Some people were saying if you're signed into your account when you watch a video then the views don't count. Is that true? I don't really know if it has anything to do with vevo or not.

Anytime someone views a video (signed in or not), it'll count as a view as soon as the person views a certain amount of the video. That's to prevent someone from refreshing their video to get views.
