I'm a freshman in highschool. I've had over a month of sick days since school started. I just can't force myself to get up in the mornings. I'm always late or just don't go at all. I'm always tired even if I go to bed early and get sleep so I just stay up late because honestly what's the point anyways? My grades last quarter were failing in some classes and I dropped off my sports team because I hate doing sports. I do have friends but all my close friends either switched schools or have no classes with me. This has been going on since middle school after my parents split but I don't think it has anything to do with that. I feel like we get way to much work in highschool and I just can't handle it. All I want is to get into a decent college and get a decent job but how can I do that when I can't get out of bed? Somebody please help.

Based on the information you shared (tired all the time, lack of energy, & loss of interests), it sounds like you might be dealing with depression. The good news is that depression can be treated in a healthy way with medication (if needed) and/or counseling. The best advice we can give you is to have your mom schedule an appointment with your primary care physician. Now a days doctors can prescribe anti-depressants (if needed). We also encourage you to schedule an appointment with a counselor. Please keep in mind that you will not have to take medication (if needed) or go to counseling for the rest of your life. You will only need to go until you are feeling better.
We really think it would be beneficial if you were to call into a Hotline and speak with one of the crisis counselors. Please know that the counselors will speak with you about your feelings, listen to what you have to say, and will treat you with respect and courtesy.
To combat fatigue perhaps the energy vitamin B12 can help or a vitamin B complex. Coenzyme Q10 can also help to boost your energy level as in http://au.search.yahoo.com/search?p=%22coenzyme+q10+for+energy%22&fr=ush-ans The super food Spirulina is another good energy booster.
One of the most common fatigue causes is anxiety which is a state of fear of real or imagined danger, which is manifested as increased heart rate, trembling, panic, weakness, extreme fatigue and stomach or intestinal discomfort.
Besides anxiety there are many other common fatigue causes such as insufficient sleep, too much sleep, under eating, thyroid problems or other illnesses (such as anemia, mononucleosis, CFS, glandular fever and many others), side effects from medication, dehydration, overexertion, an unhealthy diet and other causes as discussed in http://au.search.yahoo.com/search?p=%22common+fatigue+causes%22&fr=ush-ans
Everyone has to go so just do it and get it over with. Drink coffee, I don't know, but just go. I just finished highschool a semester ago and it's just do what they tell you and go home. It's not so bad, college is better anyways. My earliest class next semester's at 10am.
Pl. go to the famous Dr. Batra's clinic. They will tell you about your exact health condition by mere face-reading techniques.
For other clinics, they will like to see your medical report for which you have to go to a diagnostic center for a thorough medical examination of your present health conditions - both physical health as well as mental health.
For that matter, don't feel disheartened. I can also send that somebody to your house. That somebody daily comes to my house just for gossiping with me. I will surely remember to tell him to immediately get in touch with you, so that he can render maximum help to you.
