What Is The Difference Between A Pressed CD & A Burned One ?
I already looked online for what the difference is or was , but it was of no help. It was very laxed with the explanation & a lot of added overly inflated verbiages. I was wondering what the difference was or is in the "pressing" of a music CD only mainly versus a burned one. I believe I already know what a burned music CD is & what it pertains to , but I am truly wondering what separates a pressed music CD & what may make a pressed music CD the cut above the rest when it comes to being better than burned CD's. Again , I am asking about pressed "Music" CD's & not burned or pressed DVD's or any other form of ROM or CD disc-like software. Music CD's only please. I only have Music CD's.
Any ideas ?
.... Thanks
I got a confusing answer from "Miles". I got no distinctive answer from him regarding there being a distinction between Pressed Or Burned CD's. Very technical answer that gave me no separate distinction between Pressed versus Burned CD's. I cannot tell what was talked about a pressed CD versus a burned one. Seems like a description of all Burned as well as Pressed CD's
I think "Miles" answer depicts the burning process of a Pressed CD as well as a Burned CD
I think I got a co-mingled jumbled together answer from Miles
