Our 2005 Caravan had a airbag light stay on yesterday when we started it?.?

When we went to go to the store with our 2005 Caravan, the airbag light on the instrument cluster came on, and it keeps coming on every time we start it?,has anyone had this problem or know what's causing this light to stay on?.

It's almost always a bad impact sensor. It's also a huge source of dealer ripoffs. I've seen a lot of people out $1,000 for a $35 sensor that took 15 minutes to install. They'll give you a bunch of nonsense about diagnostics when any good OBDII scanner (As in, not just a cheap code checker) will give you the source of trouble.
