Gas boiler problem in old house?
I rent an old house. The drafts of cold air make the boiler work extra. It's 68 degrees and freezing. My landlord just says turn the boiler up to 70 or 72. When I do the pressure rises and so does the water temp and the pipes make all kinds of noise. I'm concerned about the boiler breaking or the pipes exploding from pressure. At 72 degrees psi goes to 20 and temp to 170-180. Any advice. Should I be concerned. Thank you.
