If Super Bowl rings are the determining factor of proving who is greater than others, then...
Jim Plunkett > Brett Favre
Roger Craig > Walter Payton
Lynn Swann > Jerry Rice
Brad Johnson > Jim Kelly
Tim Smith > Barry Sanders
Trent Dilfer > Dan Marino
Tom Flores > John Madden
Bill Belichick > Vince Lombardi
Not sure I would agree with all those.

Interesting observation but no he is not the best player to ever play in the NFL. He was a part of a great Cowboys team and a great 49ers team, but other players on both teams played more important roles in those teams continued success. Ronnie Lot, Joe Montana and Jerry Rice were more important to the the 49ers teams of 1988/89 and 1989/90 seasons. Micheal Irvin, Troy Aikman, and Emmit Smith were more important than Charles Haley to those Cowboy teams that won 3 of 4 Super Bowls in the mid1990s. Some even argue that Deon Sanders was more important to the Cowboys when they last won the Super Bowl than Charles Haley was. No doubt Charles Haley was a great player and did his share of the work in bringing home all five of those Super Bowls. He just was not the most important piece on those teams, especially the Cowboys whose offense relied heavily on Emmit Smith to get things going.

@unclesox:
Although we are talking about Super Bowls here, the history of the NFL predates 1967. It wasn't Lombardi's fault there was no Super Bowl when he won the NFL Championship as it was in 1961, 62, and 65. There is no doubt in my mind the Packer squads of that era would have handled the best the AFL had to offer during those years if a Super Bowl was there to be played.
In that case, it would be Lombardi (5) > Belichek (4)
All other matchups you list I agree with.
?
No, he was lucky enough to have been a part of two dynasties.
