Do you think we need this?

I stumbled across this by accident today. I don't have a lot of time to search but the only other places I see reporting this are very obvious conservative outlets.

Since there are all these agencies aimed at women's issues, I don't see why having just one directed toward male issue is such a big deal. I don't get the idea of "equality" being pushed in this country... I mean, in what way would a "White House Council on Boys and Men" adversely effect women and girl in this country? The current real-world practice of equality is a sham and a joke.

Here is one psychologist's argument in favor of a White House Council on Men and Boys.

Psychology Today is not a conservative propaganda outlet, and the author describes himself as liberal.

Yes - absolutely we do.

But don't expect serious support from President Obama, who has actively expressed his feminist hostility to men and boys since he assumed power.

A group for boys and men? Yes. As someone else stated, both genders should be represented.

Q: Do you think we need this?

A mess of political bantering, dithering, blathering, dickering and etc?
