Does anybody else feel like Summer is never going to come?
I live in Chicago and I feel like its going to be winter all year this year. It could be the middle of July and we have blizzards and -30 wind chills.
I just cant take it anymore.

Yea, I felt that way too when I first moved up to the frozen north. I didn't think I would be able to cope. But, I did come up with a plan that has really helped and now I don't mind the cold. What helps me is planning seasonal activities. REALLY take advantage of warm weather when it is here such as hiking, fishing, jogging etc....all outdoor activities. Then, I am ready when fall comes. I get really into each season. Fall, decorating for fall, baking/cooking fall dishes, holidays. I also switch my workout routine to my indoor routine so I can still feel good. When snow comes, I do indoor projects. I have several projects lined up that I need to tackle indoors. So I wait until really cold weather to begin those things. I also get my house really organized and clean during the winter months so that I can enjoy being inside more. I buy a giant box of hot cocoa, and other warm drinks and enjoy a cup and watch the snow from inside my clean house. I also enjoy board games, watching movies, reading books. I line up a reading list for myself. I bought a supply of puzzles too. So, I have basically switched from hating winter, to enjoying it more because I have so many things I like to do lined up. I also bought a lot of warm clothes that I like to wear and a pair of boots so I can still get out when I need to. Soon, spring will be here and I'll change my activities to outdoor ones again. So the trick is to really relish EACH season and do something you enjoy in each. Be ready for the seasons when they come. Just my thoughts.

Yeah, we're having a crappy winter, too. I'm in one of the areas that was hit by one of those ice storms, knocking out power (and heat) for days. It was one of the worst experiences of my life.
But summer will be here, eventually.

Come on out to Los Angeles and you'll feel that summer is never going to go away.
