How to enabel bidirectional communication on a Dell Printer?

I use Windows 7 and my Computer is a Dell Laptop N7110 ,Printer is a Dell V515, but I am unable to print
a message comes up telling me
to enabel bidirectional Communication
How do I do this?
I am connected through USB
using Avast Firewall

Start
Devices and printers
Right click the printer icon
Click the printer properties
Ports tab
Scroll down and check "Enable bidirectional support"
