2007 jeep grand cherokee died while driving?

Checked fuel pump, its fine. It sat for about 1/2 hour and then it started back up totally fine, and is driving totally fine again. I cleaned out air filter (which had fluffy stuff from a mouse) but I doubt that caused it to totally die while I was driving. What could it be? electrical? Something else?

I have a 1990 Jeep Wrangler™ that would die like that and it drove me NUTS cause sometimes it would start up again. It cranks...just won't fire up...right?? Mine turned out to be a simple MICRO chip that shut the power off without notice!!! I could get it RUNNING ( barely ) but burned out 2 starters doing that until I ran into a mechanic who knew what it was an fixed it!!! I didn't even KNOW there was a micro chip in 1990 Jeep! Run a diagnostic check. The other think to check are your cables and maybe your battery. Check for corrosion and clean the terminals and cables with a wire brush and check the wire that leads to the starter too. Last thing I'd check is the catalytic converter. It'll eventually get clogged and stop your vehicle...I'm guessing it's that micro chip or chips.....or corrosion on the battery.cables. Check alternator belt for slipping while you're at it. Good luck!

I'll bet it was electrical or maybe something else. With all the fact you give I'll be I'm right.
