Went up to my crush -who I barely talk to, besides saying "hi" sometimes and this one good conversation a few months ago, since we don't have any classes- and said "Hey... want my number?"

1. How would you react internally, if a girl did that? Would you think about her a lot more if she did that? What would you think about her? If you weren't remotely interested, would you text her?

Wellll he said yeah and wrote it down and texted me after school and the conversation seemed like it went well! In the end I said "I gotta go start on my homework, but you should talk to me more in person. You seem nice & really interesting :)" and he was like "Thanks, you too :)"

Do you think he might be remotely interested?

If you came up out of the blue and offered up your number, that would be odd. You're putting the person on the spot.

If you are talking to someone, you can casually say "here's my number so we can talk about that later" or "here's my number so we can set up a movie/etc".

it really doesn't matter how WE would feel or think. Everyone is different.

You need to take a risk and it sounds like you did it. However, you shouldn't have told him "you should talk to me more". That's rude. If you want to talk to him, do it and he'll likely do the same...if he wants to. Don't tell him what to do.
