Trying to loose weight for the upcoming summer heat "bikini season" and was wondering what some good fat burning exercises are for the stomach region. I've been doing sit ups for a while (by while i mean for weeks ) along with other exercises and i haven't really noticed anything (yes i do realise it takes longer than a few weeks)
So that's my question ,sorta.. I'd like to see improvements soon, my dad comes back from working states away in one to two months and my mom and i have decided to do this so..
Also if you could provide links to maybe an explainitory video on how to do the workout move, that'd be great.
Thank you.
(sorry for the spelling mishaps)

jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have to work double on them. The best approach is this: 1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal weight, lower for overweight). 2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage. 3. Target your problem areas with exercises. an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture, for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your body back, until it's parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week, guaranteed! Your stomach would be flatter and stronger. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these crunches - I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.
First off, there are no exercises to burn off belly fat. You can't spot reduce. You can only burn calories. When you burn more calories than you consume your body will be in a caloric deficit. You will burn fat. However, your body pulls the fat from wherever it feels like it and generally speaking the stomach is the last to go.
If you really want to burn fat I suggest hiit training (high intensity interval training). Here's a quick 2 min video showing how to do it:

I also recommend weight training to turn you from looking "skinny" to looking "fit" (you're a girl, you won't get big and bulky. Women have to take steroids to get big and bulky)
Don't waste your time doing a million sit-ups. You would have to do roughly 17,500 sit-ups to burn one lb of fat.
If you want a strong core I recommend dragon flags, leg raises, or a cable crunch.
Leg Raises & Cable Crunch: (this is an old video of his and he's a little douchie in it but the info is solid) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfHzJtY33RY
Go for protein as an alternative to sugar to keep energy levels going strong instead of crashing. Edamame in pods will be the perfect snack since it takes a while to eat and a one-cup serving offers 12 grams of protein.
you also can think about ACE diet plans. with a suitable diet plan like. you will help what you want
Start your plan with 7 days "1000 calorie diet" and after that use "ACE diet plan". Remember to do exercises especially, belly exercise, eat more vegetable and fish than eat meat, drink water and fruit juice, and not drink wine, soft drink and fizzy drink.
I strongly recommend that you should keep you ACE plan going on after that, which made your result stable and you will not increase weight again.
