Had an emergency cesarean in December I was told to get up and start walking around right away. By the 3rd day I was walking more and more?
instead of using the wheel chair to get back and forth between my room and the NICU.
It was still painful like if I walked too fast it would hurt A LOT.
Slowly I started to incorporate working out back into my life. Once I was cleared to work out again I started off slow just some yoga or some Pilate's. What I've noticed is that my incision still hurts over the last few months - if I stretch a certain way or even if something brushes up against it. Sometimes it will hurt like a day or two after I've worked out.
Its been about 5 months since I've had my c-section and now I noticed that when I do work out (say like doing Jillian Michael's 30 days shred) my stomach looks bloated. Like instead of getting smaller it looks like its full of fluid. But if I don't workout for a few days it doesn't look as big as it does when I do work out.
What can I do to get rid of this extra stomach! Or at least get it to shrink?!
A friend told me it can take anywhere from 6 months to a year for me to feel back to normal but why is my stomach size increasing instead of shrinking after working out?
