"Blackfish" Who was at fault?
After watching the documentary, anyone who didn’t do their own research to get at the truth behind the misrepresentations and in many cases…outright lies portrayed in it, would be led to believe that Sea World was an evil organization torturing noble sea creatures for fun and profit…. And recklessly endangering trainers. In reality though, Sea World does a tremendous amount of good, raises awareness, advances scientific research and forges invaluable knowledge of cetacean behavior and biology. The death of a trainer is tragic, but is it really fair to accuse the park of negligence or for OSHA to ban ALL interactions between trainers and the whales over an incident like this ?
