Is wearing ACU pants with civilian clothes allowed?

I've seen a couple people now out in public with a civilian shirt and shoes on. But wearing Army ACU pants. It was weird to me and I thought about saying something but im not completely sure on what the rules are for that. So is that allowed or not?

Just because they have on ACU pants, it does not mean they are military. They could have picked them up at a thrift store, a garage sale, any number of places. And civilians are allowed to wear them any way they want, they are under no regs.
Lots of folks get them for hunting or for paintball.

Hubby has some of his old pants that we've cut off and those are his yard care shorts!

Just because they have ACU pants on does NOT mean they are in the military at all. Plus you do not know that they are Army issued either. You can pick them up at Goodwill, Thrift Stores and countless other places. People use them for ALL sorts of things whether it is to walk around in, paintball, gardening, hunting or anything else that they want to do.

They could be JROTC kids. I remember after school i went straight to Old Navy and some old woman thought i was in the Military at the time.

No, it is not allowed, even if they cut them and wes them into shorts. If you are a civilian wearing them, unless you are on a military installation, no one can do anything about it, unless it is the doorman at the Brown Palace in Denver and it is not proper attire for their establishment.
