If I replace the back cover of Z1 Compact, will it void the warranty?

Unfortunately, my back cover has a lot of cosmetic damage, because I used a cheap case to "protect" it.

I thought it was the end of the world, but I saw that you can purchase a back cover online, but before I do this, will it void my warranty?

If it does, I also have insurance, so will it void the insurance in any way?
