Why is the album titled so? To reflect the loneliness and oppression present throughout the album? Or is there another reason?

I think it was a reflection on their current status of being tax exiles and moving to the South Of France where instead of keeping their heads down the trouble and the scandal, drugs busts followed them. So they might as well have still been in London or LA for the amount of legal hassles and media scandal they created.
