in my opinion yes it would be a bad idea.
personally i wear shorts to disneyw orld in the really hot months.
i mean if thats what you normally wear and already know that you can handle wearing them when its 92*F with a heat index of 105*F with the humidity for 15hrs a day walking and standing in long lines.
and you can also handle them being quite wet on the bottom nearly ever day cuz it rains most afternoons then sure go for it.
but otherwise i suggest wearing shorts.

Disney Jeans

I've worn jeans to Disney World in July once and it was miserable. I live in Florida and normally wear jeans all year but a day at the parks is a whole different ball game even for me. It's just too humid and hot to wear them for long periods of time. If you need to wear long pants for some reason, wear something like khaki hiking pants, yoga pants, or exercise pants. Anything that will breathe is great.

Jeans I would say yes. Due to the weight and the way they breathe you will be very hot. July is about as hot as you can get in FL. HOWEVER as someone who works outside, there are plenty of light weight pants you can wear and not over heat like you would in jeans. Many people actually like to wear pants in the summer as it keeps their legs out of the sun.
Also, there are many pop up storms in the summer there, even if they only last a moment or two jeans are not fun wet and they do dry slower.

We have been to WDW several times in July. It is extremely hot. Wearing jeans would not be a good idea. Shorts are a much better option. Don't forget the sunscreen.
