Makeup for an 11 year old?

Question

About two months ago, I asked my cousin who is 11 to stop wearing so much makeup at such a young age, because she was wearing foundation, eyeliner, powder, blush, bronzer, mascara, etc........

I also asked Yahoo if it would be acceptable if I got her down to just concealer and powder.

I showed her how to apply makeup to enhance what you already have, and to make it look natural.

Now, my cousin and I have come to the conclusion that it would be appropriate for her to just wear concealer, a bit of powder (on the T zone, of course) and blush.

Do you think that that is okay? Both her and I really don't want to ruin her face..

(She consists on wearing makeup because of her dark circles, discoloration, and rosacea.. also, any pimples that she may come across during puberty)

Honestly, if she wants to wear makeup nothing that anybody could say will change her mind. If her parents/guardians are okay with it and the school allows it, just let her wear it. I think the amount that you and her have agreed on would look fine as long it's not caked on, and as long as she knows how to properly clean it off. People are going to have a billion different opinions on this matter, and honestly if you want to teach her to be confident in herself you need to teach her to ignore those people, because there will never be a time when everybody is happy with the way she looks. As long as she feels good, she should go for it.

I understand loud and clear the want I be more like an adult when you are younger. Young girls feel like makeup is a grownup thing so they find reason to wear it when they don't need it to make then seem more grown up. I think the concealer and a bit of powder is more then enough. Umm....
At her age, I wasn't even allowed lipstick. My powder was baby powder because I was sweaty. She should know that no face is naturally flawless, zit free, and no redness. Instead, tell her how to take care of her face like how to wash her face 2x a day. I can understand lip gloss to school and eye shadow to nicer events, but she should focus on building her self-esteem. She will be a sad individual by the time she's 20 and too broke for nasty mascara.

I think none would be best, but I know what rosacea is like, so I think concealor, powder, and blush is fine!
