Most schools teach in Norwegian because the official language in Norway is not English, but there are a few schools that teach in English, usually for students from other countries. The majority of people in Norway can speak English well, but they are not native speakers of English, so the way they speak English is not as perfect as British or Irish people.

Norwegian. I believe some international schools teach in English, however.
