I'm a teen, should I use a certain type of facial cleanser?

Hi. I'm a guy that has had acne problems. A while ago I started using a clean and clear cleanser and have stopped for a while now.

It's been about a year and a half and my skin has changed. My acne isn't as bad as it was when I was 16 but it looks dry and lifeless if I don't clean it. I was thinking of getting this one:

but I'm not sure if it will help. Should I use a certain type of cleanser if I'm a teen or does it just not matter?

Sometimes flareups are caused by sensitivity to the product you are using, any cleanser should be fine as long as it's suited to your skin type (from what you've said, it sounds like you're slightly more oily/combination now) which means you might need to invest in a light moisturizer. I clean my face once in the morning and once in the evening with a cleanser and once a week i exfoliate so my skin doesn't look dull.

I have had bad acne for a while and have tried EVERYTHING for it that's out there. Personally I find Dermalogica the best but keep in mind that everyone's skin is different and what works for one person might not work for you.

It all depends on your skin type. Try out different cleansers that suit your skin type and stick with one that works for you!
