Nope they just make it where if it's reported by more than 1 "trusted yahoo member" it gets deleted

Other than the community moderators, no. There are still vulgar and offensive questions on the question stream dating back to 4 weeks ago. It seems reporting questions is futile if the asker can still get the message across 4 weeks later.

Yes. Yahoo has community moderation. All it takes is1, 2 or 3 "trusted" members depending on their "trust level" to report a post which they believe to be a violation and the bots remove it.

Thousands of them.

Community moderation

At Yahoo Answers, we rely on the honor system to reward and empower reliable Yahoo Answers contributors.

Community members who consistently and accurately report abusive questions and answers have more influence than others. By the same token, users who report content incorrectly will lose trust. So the level of influence any member of the Yahoo Answers Community has varies constantly dependent on their actions.

If one or more trusted members of the Community report the same question or answer, it will be removed. See our article on reporting abuse to learn more about alerting us to inappropriate content.
