Riccardo Fontana never doubted the Christian faith. It was the Church officials not acting accordingly that he was disappointed at. Riccardo Fontana s joining the Jews at concentration camp is his one way of saying that "This is what true Christians do... loving their sisters and brothers regardless of race, culture or religion - being in solidarity with them.
