If someone was born completely deaf and then later on developed schizophrenia, would that person hear voices?

I always wonder you know schizophrenics hear voices that aren't there, but what about deaf schizophrenics. Deaf from birth never to have heard a human voice or language.

Good question.

How about a guess that may or may not be good.
Deaf people "hear" by feeling vibrations. It's not hearing like you or I hear . but it is a way of picking up on sound transmissions. They aren't going to hear voices, though, because the vibration is not strong enough on their skin.

So I suppose if a from-birth-totally-deaf person develop schizophrenia they would "hear" vibrations ... they would hallucinate vibrations that were not there.
You think?

A schizophrenic doesn't hear outside voices, but thoughts, conscience and idea's inside their head.

Many have said that these "voices" went away with stress reduction. They were never there and sound wasn't an issue.

Also, no one else hearing these voices means there was no sound waves.

I hear my mothers voice inside my head sometimes, but it doesn't include sound waves.

Yes deaf people can hear voices of both kinds, inside and what appears to be outside as well.

And the blind can also have hallucinations.

It's in the mind when it happens, we can see and hear with our minds. Both the deaf and blind can see and hear with the mind.

By the way where is that someone. Right now I am coming to your place directly. Please show me that someone. Then only I can predict or diagnose his real problem. I will also tell you whether that someone can hear voices or not.

Out of all of the possible questions in the world, how did this one ever occur to you? I really don't know the answer, but I do know that Al Gore derived his global warming bull crap by listening to the demonic voices in his head, that emanated from actual dark evil forces.
