Not enough VA Hospitals and clinics for the number of Veterans who need care. VA Hospitals only operate between 800am and 400pm unlike civilian hospitals. I wait 3 months for an appointment and spend 2 1/2 hours waiting for a doctor who can only spend 2 minutes with me because he still needs to see 9 patients in 13 minutes. It isn't the doctors fault and it ISN'T MY FAULT EITHER.
Thank you for serving

It is because the Dept. of VA, STOPPED Hiring any
"FULL TIME" Doctors years ago...and have replaced them
with Part-Timers...One or Two days per week...in all Specialties...
and they are being Overwhelmed by the Volume of Patients
They have been Limited to 15 Minutes per Patient...
In Behavior Health they have Not Replaced any Psychiatrists
or Psychologists that have Retired or left the VA...
Thus there are only 3 left and one of those is a Part Timer...
as at the Buffalo NY VAMC...
They are OVER WHELMED !!!!
Also a Social Worker that thinks to much money is
being spent on PTSD has been put in charge of the
"Behavior Health Dept." over all of the Doctors etc...
?
I have 300 pages in my medical records, what VA person is going to take the time to copy and paste all 300 pages to the VA computer system, and if I have 300 pages then how many do other soldiers have that did the full twenty years?
Oh Yeah
It's because we've had two wars going on for years with little expansion of the VA. If you are going to start a war, you should be willing to look after the vets.
