Tanks for answering the question,it seems to me that a 1 to 6 ratio is far too weak and the additive you use is too expensive.
I'll be using a lining and a 1 to 4 ratio with plain water.

we always used a 6 to 1, 6 sand to 1 portland by volume and then used latex additive instead of water to do a dry packed base
