That is inaccurate. The avian flu (H5N1) SARS and MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) all originated in Asia. AIDS and Ebola have been around for decades and only relatively recently did they spread outside of Africa. Ebola is not super contagious but it has a high fatality rate for people who contracted the virus. Neither is AIDS. Flu is far easier to spread, and SARS and MERS are easier to spread from person to person than either AIDS or Ebola.

Thank you, I should have clarified VERY high fatality, high contagious diseases I suppose.
My question was though, why these seem to originate in Africa. It's not an accusation!
