To make a critter carrier more curved to hold jellyfish eyphyra, could you put in two screens of mesh on each side the carrier?

I am trying to make critter carriers more rounded out so there are less dead spots in the container with these tiny jellyfish. I am aware of the standard screen/mesh at the end of the carrier preventing the jellyfish from escaping out the outflow hole in the carrier.
