Star Wars: The Force Awaken's (2015) question?

I just saw a video on YouTube that said that Mark Hamill (the original luke skywalker) will be playing luke skywalker again in the new film, i was wondering how he can play this role he is over 50 years old? (Luke is suppose to be a young 20 year old in the film) I'm confused?

The new film is set quite some time after the events of Return of the Jedi.
All of the original characters ARE old now.
