Why would a phone charger get warm while charging a device in one outlet. When used in a different outlet it stays cool.?

Could be a few things. However u might have an issue with the outlet as heat usually means resistance. U could rule that out by putting a load like a light on it and see If the plug heats up. If it does u should get the outlet looked at....Show more
